Clinical Skills Laboratory
The Veterinary School’s Clinical Skills Laboratory is a dedicated teaching facility that enables Murdoch’s veterinary science students to build confidence and competence in essential animal care procedures before working with live animals.
Located on our Perth campus, the Lab represents a vital step in improving student learning outcomes, animal welfare and workplace readiness. It strengthens Murdoch’s position as a leader in hands-on, high-quality veterinary education, with support from industry, alumni and community donors.

Models like Henryetta enable us to optimise our teaching of hands-on clinical skills as students can practise repeatedly in a safe environment. Students especially like the built-in feedback mechanisms. Future funding would help us build and develop more models like Henryetta.
Caring for Pets
Our pets enrich our lives in many ways. They provide us with unconditional love, help improve our own health and recreational pursuits, protect our property and are cherished members of our families.
Donations to the Caring for Pets program support research that works to improve the lives and health of pets. While the majority of research benefits dogs and cats, research projects are also carried out for birds, horses, guinea pigs and other companion animals.
